Who are you dealing with? I know it's always a bit of a question mark dealing with someone over the net especially if you are overseas. While I can't guarantee you that I won't drop dead tomorrow and thereby screw up your order, it may ease your mind to know that I am a fairly stable sort (same wife for over 30 years, same address for over 25 years) a professional with significant income and substantial net worth who collects pipes. I also have a dog, a twentys daughter and a teenage son. Federal law precludes offering the latter two and neither money nor pipes can tempt me as to the former.

DUNHILL
(#d22-SET-b-CG-60-47)
1922 Dunhill Set with one 1924 filler: Two 1922 Bruyeres, a CG Churchwarden and
a 47 bulldog, together with a 1924 60 Bruyere billiard. The key to this set is the
CG churchwarden with a crested bottom (the only one I have seen), it is in excellent+
condition with original bit shape. The other two pipes are both in excellent condition
with original bits - $2000

(#d20s-PR-s-308)
1920s Dunhill #308: A 1920's silver military bit prince. In the 1920's
Shells with a sliver military fitting were stamped on the cup rather then the wood and
generally without a date code. This is a petite prince in excellent condition and a strong
blast. - $275
For scan see: d20s-PR-s-308.jpg
(#d36-LB-s-LB)
1936 Dunhill LB 8: A 1936 Shell LB of interest because without looking at the
nomenclature one would readily date it to the 1920s because of its craggy blast and shape.
In excellent condition but with a replacement bit and a somewhat more wear then one
would like. - $450

(#D39-b-c60)
1939 Dunhill Bruyere #C60 Churchwarden: A 1939 Bruyere shape #C60
Churchwarden, A large and rare pre war churchwarden with a slight bend to them stem
and a classic 'group 4' billiard bowl.. The pipe is 12" long and 1 3/4"
tall. It is in excellent condition, rims sharp, bowl in round, bit appears to
be original, a few knicks, nomenclature fully readable A DUNHILL over LONDON

(#D60s-s-FET)
1960s Dunhill 14K Gold Cup&Spigot Shell shape # FET: One of Dunhill's
classic 'prince' shapes, the slightly bent large 'prince' with an <AD> 14K gold cup
& spigot military mount. The gold weight of a cup & spigot fitting can
sometime adversely effect the balance of a Dunhill standard shape, but I find that in the
case of the FET (& the FET) it makes for a better ballanced pipe - particularly so
with the FET. The pipe is 6 1/4" long and 1 1/4" tall. It is
in excellent condition, bowl is in round, the rims are sharp, the bit appears to be
original, there is a mild ding in the gold cup, the sandblast is crisp and the
nomenclature is fully readable:: FET followed by DUNHILL over SHELLBRIAR
followed by MADE ... over ENGLAN.. . As with most all sandblasted cup &
spigots the nomenclature, including the date code, it is partially covered
Conservatively I have dated this pipe to the 1960s but looking at the bit I suspect that
this pipe in fact dates a decade earlier - $525

(#D66-s-r) 1971 Dunhill Shell Pot with a rare
STERLING lip: This is a very nice 1975 Shell pot, but what makes this pipe a
rareity is that it has a Sterling Silver bit lip. This is a feature offered by
Dunhill on custom order but very rarely found. The pipe is in excellent condition
with a nice blast for the period and an original bit. The pipe is 5 1/4" long and 1
1/2" tall. The rims are in round and crispt, as is the nomenclature: R
DUNHILL over SHELL BRIAR followed by MADE IN over ENGLAND6 followed by (4) S . -

(#D77-r-51122)
1977 Dunhill TinderBox Anno Gold Banded Root Chimney Billiard: This is a 1977
Dunhill Tinderbox Anniversary pipe (# 281) in the form of a group 5 billiard chimney,
shape 51122. The pipe is factory fitted with a 9K gold AD Tinderbox Anno band and has
exceptional graining with slanted straight graining on either side, a birds eye back and a
mix of straight grain and birds eye on the front. The pipe is 5 1/2" long and 2
1/4" tall. It is in excellent condition. Rims are in round and sharp, aside from a
few minor nicks the bowl is clean, the bit appears to be original and the nomenclature is
strong: 51122 over DUNHILL over 281 on one side and on the other: MADE IN over ENGLAND17.
The wide 9k gold band is stamped with the Tinderbox crest, an AD in a diamond and London
hallmarks. This is one of the very best of the Dunhill Tinderbox Anno pipes. - $375

(#D78-r-61061)
1978 Dunhill TinderBox Anno Gold Banded Root Group 6 Billiard : This is a 1978
Dunhill Tinderbox Anniversary pipe (# 257) in a group 6 billiard/pot, shape 61061. The
pipe is factory fitted with a 9K gold AD Tinderbox Anno band and is remarkable in two
respects: first, it is a group 6, very few of the Tinderbox Anno pipes were that large,
and second, it is in fact an ODA 853 save for the stampings, I know of no other
Tinderbox Anno pipe made in an ODA shape, much less one as seldom found as the 853. The
pipe is 6" long and 2" tall. It is in excellent condition. Rims are in round and
sharp, the bowl is clean, the bit appears to be original and the nomenclature is strong:
61061 DUNHILL over 257 on one side and on the other: MADE IN over ENGLAND18. The wide 9k
gold band is stamped with the Tinderbox crest, an AD in a diamond and London hallmarks. An
exceptional example of the Dunhill Tinderbox Anno pipe series. - $450

A 1980's FAKE 1957 Dunhill ODA 847: A FAKE 1957 Dunhill Bruyere ODA 847
rhodesian in excellent condition with original bit. This is one of the 1983 fake
Dunhills. Most probably it was originally part of 1950's Dunhill factory production,
graded out because of a flaw at the top of the bowl but taken from the factory a quarter
of a century later, 'topped' an 1/8th of an inch and passed off as a correct
Dunhill. -- $400

(#Meer-Lion)
Antique Meerschaum fitted with a Churchwarden Bit: This is a very nicely (much
nicer then most) carved turn of the century meerschaum lion, that I had converted to a
churchwarden by having it fitted with a modern 'fake amber' shank topped by the original,
repaired, amber bit (it was glued back together and onto the new extension). I
should note that when you actually smoke this pipe the bowl takes on a deep brown color as
you smoke it but then as it cools returns to the lighter shades pictured here.
The pipe is 10" long and 2" tall. It is in excellent
condition but note the bit repair. - $125
